WINTERHOUSES bites off more than it can chew ----- and then abandons any responsibility to the consequences; it passes that on to the viewer. WINTERHOUSES plays many cards: sometimes the numinous, or the matter of fact, the impossible, or the obvious. Certain threads weave throughout the work, though changing shape along the way, and catching unanticipated players in its accidental web.
The user is brought into the work being asked to set or alter the sequence of pages- in turn affecting each other image in innumerable ways, temporarily binding a pseudo-narrative into a suggested string of time. Or perhaps the rearrangements are non-linear, and instead a single many layered experiential moment.
